ABOUT

Joseph Tomaino is a practicing architect and planner. Over his 40+ years as a licensed professional he has provided hands-on services primarily in the public and government sector construction markets. He has been lead architect for schools, government buildings, health care projects and residential facilities. His focus as a firm principal has been administratively driven, always emphasizing a high level of the "standard of care".

Mr. Tomaino's firms have designed projects ranging up to $100 million. Most of Mr. Tomaino's projects tend toward the more technically complex. He has served as an expert witness for a variety of projects by offering planning and zoning testimony as well as offering expert testimony in litigation cases.  He was a member and chairman of the Construction Board of Appeals in his New Jersey County for 10 years. He chaired the committee which developed his Community's Historic Preservation Ordinance. And, he has been a member and chairman of his local Planning & Zoning Board for approximately 20 years. In addition to planning & zoning issues, that Board also reviews projects for compliance with Historic Guidelines.   Mr. Tomaino has been licensed to practice architecture in several states.
